Our weather is so hot and humid. For days now, very little under 100F. The humidity is out to lunch.. blaaa. There is no relief in sight for at least another week. My poor planters are wilting, and so am I. We live in a ranch bungalow with no AC, so thank goodness for our pool. Was my choice to not have AC, as I'm shut in all winter, and want windows open in summer. Now I'm having second thoughts. I love warm weather, but this is crazy!!

What is my weather like? It is cold (for here anyway), about 15C (55F) and doesn't look like getting any warmer today .

Was 113F (that's 45 Celcius) today and an outrageous 14% humidity. We will record the highest EVER overnight temperature for this date at a low of 88F (33C) tonight. We're talking THE strangest THE windiest, THE most unusual weather patterns ever in extreme south eastern Nevada. We're bailin tomorrow, and heading for cooler climes until Labor Day in the motorhome! I will be testing aircard wireless connections all along our route, and may be in remote ---or minimal areas until we meet again!
Karen, I know you had SUCH a dry summer and bet that you are welcoming the oncoming winter! I always bend down and wave to you between my feet down thar in Oz.

I think our weather has been on the national news. It's been so hot in NY! And Herbie and I are putting on a new roof for our pops and it has been unbearable! He almost had heat stroke one day from it. I don't know which is worse... the heat or the blisters on my hands from hammering! I can't wait for this roof to be done!!!
We have 2 AC units but it doesn't do us any good if they aren't in the windows. We live in the woods and usually don't need them except for a couple of times a year so we usually suffer it out with fans.

It's been hot, humid and rainy in my area. I can stand the hot days but I don't care one little bit for the humidity. ...I'd much rather drink my water than inhale it

Hot here in Central California, too! Over 100 every day. We're lucky that we don't have the humidity some of you are experiencing. However, when my very own personal heating system kicks in, I might as well be in a sauna!!! :p

we've got a very pleasant 20 degrees with a slight breeze to keep the midges away , no complaints from me
when you see the weathermaps on tv we are covered with rainclouds again , I wish they wpuld come and see what it is really like.

We will have the same weather forecast until about Nov.
HOT...with a lot of humidity. Lows in the upper 70's, and Highs in the 90's, and usually 40% chance of rain.
When it rains, it cools down sometimes by 20 degrees...then right back up again.
The beaches have a nice breeze.
Could not survive without AC here. It would be ok if: they, "hadn't paved paradise and put up a parking lot".

Wisconsin weather has been warmer than normal - and much more humid. I truly believe "nature" is getting us ready for Florida's summers.
Last year, we never broke 90. It was perfect weather except for those with cabins and camping/swimming in mind.

So CA weather is just as Ellen describes hers. It has been in the mid 70's here for the past week, with a lovely slight breeze. Overcast in the morning. Sun out by noon. MY type of weather. But it is forcast to reach the 90's this week, which will, undoubtedly, make me very grumpy.

Central FL is much like Michi's. Every afternoon black clouds roll in, thunder to be heard and then the wind blows it all away before we get any rain. If it does rain a little the roads steam. It's only nice outside early AM and late. But such are summers in FL.
I can't believe you two are up on the roof working, Sandy.

We had a few nice days, but we are back to cloudy and cool again. I seriously need to move to a place where there is more sunshine than just a few days per year.

It was beautiful here in south west Scotland this morning, blue skies and warm, but the clouds came in at about lunchtime and it is grey and cooler now.

I will be in Florida next week (17 - 23) for business conference. How far is Miam from Tampa?

about 4-5 hours. We'll be in Longboat Key, near Sarasota so a bit closer to Miami.
