With Windows 7, is it absolutely necessary to turn off the antivirus when installing software from a CD or downloading it from a trusted website (like Adobe)? The reason I ask is because Win7 always asks if you want to "Allow" the software to be installed. Do antiviruses (I have Kaspersky) recognize when you choose "Allow"? :confused:
I'm having a problem downloading my "original" Dell software from their site in My Account. First, I get the yello bar to install Dell Download Manager. It installed, but after that, the software will not download. Could that be because I have my anitvirus enabled or is it the Dell Download Manager?
