I am doing a two part tutorial on extractions. The second part will be ready later but not today or tomorrow, more likely to be next week.

Extractions01PSE8 (http://www.4shared.com/dir/LdJJGvSx/Extractions01PSE8.html) - password is extract01

Later there will be a tutorial on some ideas for extracted items.

Enjoy,

Karen

I have always extracted items from my own photos and then used them in layouts. Here are just a few of my extractions.

I usually don't have the patience for doing a good extraction, but I so love to use items I have around the house for embellishments. Thanks for the tutorial.

Here's an old LO where I extracted the pendent from my necklace - I used the down and dirty method - I erased everything I could and then painstakingly went pixel by pixel.

One of my favorite extractions - one of the few OOB's I did.

This was an easy one because the BG was black on the original photo, but I am looking forward to studying the new tut's to learn a better way to extract.
