This is beautiful, Catherine. Thank you!
Now can someone tell me how to get a brush up into my PSE program??
Also what is the difference between. abr and PNG. What do they mean?

Hi Nancy,

A png file is just the image. Elements in a kit are always saved as png files and they have transparent backgrounds. If you saved an element as a jpeg file it would have a white background not a transparent one. An abr file is the actual brush file and that is what you need to put into your PSE program to be able to use this as a brush. I don't use PSE, so I'm sorry that I can't help you with that.

Nancy, I keep all my brushes (that do not come with PSE) in a separate folder. Then, with PSE open, click on the Brush Tool. In the Menu Bar beside the brush, click the down widget to open the brush picker, then click the right widget to see your options. Choose Load Brushes. Navigate to your Brushes folder and locate the .abr file you wish to load. Your brushes will now be available in the brush picker!

OK, its in my brushes in PSE, but when I click on it to put it on my paper, I can't let go of it!!! The dang thing follows my curser all over the place. Sadly I know nothing about brushes. Read a couple tuts yesterday but they didn't make much sense.

Nancy, that's how it works. Once you have clicked the brush image onto your paper, then choose another Tool. That will "deactivate" the brush. But as long as you still have the Brush Tool open and you have clicked on a brush to use, it will follow your cursor.

Oh WOW!!! I didn't know you used it like a stamp!!! I clicked on the lady again and, of course she followed my curser all over the place. I accidently clicked the left button on the mouse and----there was a print of the lady on my paper!!!! So I continued to left click all over the paper and made a beautiful background of the lady all over the paper!!
I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER!!! (yeah, I use to love that show!!) I'm like a kid in a candy shop when I learn something new!!

isn't it fun discovering. make sure you start a new layer when you brush so that if it goes wrong you only need to take one step back in history.
