Gallery: Upload Feature Not Working-Extra Options

Whenever I upload an image to the gallery, Under Extra Options, I always select the option 'yes' to "Want to be notified by email when users post replies?" But it never works. I then have to go to my uploaded image and click on Photo Options>Receive Email Updates.

Not sure who to report this to. :confused:

Because this is working for me, I did a test upload just now. In my testing, I noted that there is no way to enable notifications if you have already selected that option - you can only disable it. So if that option is available to you, somehow your selection isn't being saved the first time.

Could you please try again - and don't press submit until after you have changed the option to "yes". Once you've done that, could you reply to this post with a link to your LO in the gallery, so I can check it from the Admin side?

Also, when I look at your gallery items - in the photo information window, it appears you can enable notification right there - without having to delete the photo and put it back. Do you see that option? A little envelope with a + sign?

It shows that the option is enabled, but then I never receive the emails. When I return to check when I don't receive any emails, the option has been disabled.

Sandy and I both tested just now and we immediately receive comments to the photo.

We're wondering if perhaps the notices are going to a spam folder? Have you checked it to see if the messages are there? Also, did you double check to be sure the email address you want to use is correct in your User CP (upper left corner of the nav bar)?

Vicki, I received yours and Karen's comments in the gallery. Yes, I have everything set up correctly. Well, maybe I wasn't careful when uploading my image. I'll let you know if the problem continues. Thanks.
