I didn't do a year in review but used the resealing of our fish pond as the topic . . .

Journalling reads . . .

A couple of months ago, we cleaned out the fishpond. Took out all the pots; put the fish in a bucket; drained the pond and scrubbed it. Alas, the pond sprung a leak and we had to reseal it.
We had 32 fish in our small pond and they were not very happy in the bath but they had to stay in the bath for three full days and nights.
With the pond empty, we searched for the leak but couldn’t find it. The next stage was to thoroughly clean the surface and let it dry. Michael had bought sealer from the hardware.
We primed and applied one coat of sealer on the Wednesday. Thursday we put the second coat of sealer on. Friday morning the plants were put in and the pond refilled.
The first lot of water tasted dreadful, so we emptied the pond and refilled it before transferring the fish from the bath back to the pond. The last thing was to put the protective cover back in place
