vacation

I was not sure where to post this but wanted everyone to be aware that I was going on vacation till the 11th. I'm leaving saturday for the beach. I'm so excited as this is the 2nd time to the beach for the kids. They love it!

They are not forgotten at all, Lella. I'm using one as an alarm clock because she gets up at 6:30 am on her own. Even when I put her to bed at 10! So when she gets up, we all get up, get breakfast, and on the road. The RV is packed and ready!

No I'm not going to my usual beach. Last year we went to Cape May, NJ. This year is a biggy, it's Surf City NC. 8 hour drive so if you don't hear from me at all, you'll know I went insane!

Hey I'm back! I had a ton of fun and so did the kids at the beach. I took tons of pictures too. The drive was not too bad either and the kids didn't mind it at all either. I did forget the maps, oops, but we had a gps. I wanted the maps to show the kids more or less where we were. Realized it when we got lost in NC. We apparently need to update the GPS as it could not find the road we were on, but it put us there. LOL. We went to the beach every day and in the evenings too. The kids collected tons of shells and even one day those real small clams. we put them in a water bottle with some of the ocean in it. Forgot the next day to get more water to change it out and they all died. We were thinking about putting them in real water and then cleaning them out, sealing with glue, and putting them on the bottom of the fish tank after a real good cleaning. Well once they died, they just got pitched as there was this oder and well I was not taking that home! I can't have the AC on in a vehicle so that smell would have been horrible in the 100 degree weather we were in.

Well I guess i need to find out what else I missed ......
