LOL Well, I am an old scrapper in more ways then one. I am a grandma (and proud of it) and I started digital scrapping in 2005, but due to many bone surgeries including a knee and hip replacement and back surgery in a span of two years I haven't done much scrapping for several years. I am so ready to get started again.
My daughter-in-law asked me to make albums for our two grands and to tell it through the eyes of grandparents as we have always been so active in our grands lives. Our granddaughter, Karessa, is a sophomore so I am thinking I had better get started on her album. Austin is in 7th grade so I have a little more time to work on his.
I started out in the digital world by teaching a craft class in a chat room. I taught how to use digital kits to make crafts and gifts. My first chat I had 98 sign in. I didn't know whether to runnnnnn or cry. LOL I stayed and we had a great time. Priss may have been at that chat as I belonged to the Scrappingrannies with her at that time.
I went on to design printable crafts to sell in the store and did some designing with one of the store owners. That site closed two years ago and I haven't been active since then.
I receive the Den's newsletter and have enjoyed it and I have been visiting for awhile and learning my way around.
I look forward to getting to know all of you better and learning to use my new PSE 8 and to create layouts more in line with today's styles.
Hugs!

Thanks, girls. Sandy I think I still have some photos, but they were not made with kits from the Den. Maybe once things slow down I can work up one with a Den kit.

Hey Carole! Welcome to the Den - happy that you've decided to check us out! The Den's a fun place to hang out!

You'll want to take a moment to review our Site Guidelines (http://digitaldesignden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34), if you haven't already done so. The other threads in our Site News (http://digitaldesignden.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11) area has tips on inserting and linking gallery images and we have lots of challenges going in our Challenge Threads (http://digitaldesignden.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4).

Looking forward to seeing your layouts and be sure to let Sandy (by Sandy), Robyn (Red Dog Designs) or me know if you have any questions about the Site.

Once again, welcome! Oh - and since you read the Newsletter, you know about our upcoming Grand Opening, right??

welcome to the Den Carole, that sounds fascinating how you taught people how to use kits for crafts and gifts .
Right up my street , so I hope to see some of that in your gallery.
Your grandkids will be so pleased with their albums

Hi, Carole, I am so glad to meet you! I have some things in common with you. I am a granny also and I am also from Kansas. Where in Kansas do you live? I live in Winfield, KS which is pretty close to the KS/Okla border.

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to the Grand Opening.

Donna, we have a niece that lives in Winfield. She oversees all the 4H kids and activities. I was raised in ElDorado. I moved to Hugoton in 1974. It's a small town in the far SW corner with about 3400, no theater or entertainment so our grands sporting events are our social life. We have football at 4 and volleyball at 6 tomorrow. I hope my back and old bones cooperate so I feel like going.

Wow, small world isn't it? Wouldn't it be great if we could meet sometime? It will be so much fun having a fellow Kansan here at the Den.
